Book appointments by telephone or online 24 hours a day!

You can now book a doctor's appointment when the surgery is closed!

To use the online service (which is called SystmOnline) you need a username and password.   Please ask at reception and bring photo ID (driving licence or passport) and we will issue you with your logon details.  Once you have your logon details, follow the link from our home pageWe strongly advise that you check your appointment has been successfully booked by checking your 'booked appointments' on SystmOnline once you've booked it.

Please note that if you have a lot of appointments booked in advance, you may not be able to use SystmOnline to book another one as it limits you to three appointments at any one time.

Alternatively, if you don't have access to the internet, you can book 24 hours a day by telephone.  This is very useful for patients who work unusual hours or find it difficult to telephone the surgery during the day.  To use this, call the surgery on 01205 362556 and select option 1.  You will then be given some choices, such as which doctor you want to see or whether you just want the first available appointment.

It is always worth checking either of these ways for appointments as we have several cancellations each day and these will be instantly available to re-book online or via the telephone, including in the middle of the night.

You can book, cancel or check your doctor's appointment or cancel or check any appointment, including those with nurses using either SystmOnline or the automated telephone system.  These services aren't available for our nurses' appointments as these require more guidance when booking from our receptionists.

You can, of course, still choose to speak direct to a receptionist if you prefer.  Just select option 2 on the telephone.

Please note - you should not self-book automatically for a minor operation or for a coil fitting - these are longer appointments and need another member of staff to be present.  If in doubt, please speak to a receptionist who will advise you.
